Product & Features
How much can the FlyOn Jacket carry? Up to 7kg across 14 internal pockets. Enough for 7-10 days of clothing.
Where can I store shoes? We recommend storing them in one of the 4 lower-frontal pockets (pockets 7, 10, 11, and 14), and mirroring the volume and weight on each side for more comfort.
Can I fit my laptop inside one of the pockets? The pockets are not sized for a laptop, and we wouldn't recommend it due to comfort and the safety of the device. However, if your item is about the size of your folded trousers, you can place it in the lower-frontal pockets (pockets 7, 10, 11, and 14).
Is it uncomfortable when fully loaded? The weight distributes evenly across your shoulders and torso. Let's put it this way: it's more comfortable than wearing a heavy purse on one shoulder, or a bulky non-ergonomic backpack.
What are the RFID pockets for? 2 of the 14 pockets are lined with RFID-blocking material to protect your passport, credit cards, and ID from digital theft.
Can I wash it? Yes. We recommend washing at 30°C. Remove all items and keep the zippers open so the pockets get cleaned inside. Air dry recommended. Please read the full care instructions on the inner label.
What material is it made from? SEAQUAL yarn, made from upcycled ocean plastics and recycled post-consumer plastic waste. Designed in Italy, handcrafted in Milan.
Sizing & Fit
How do I choose my size? FlyOn Jackets are designed to wear in your regular size. When loaded, it looks like a puffer. When empty, it wears like an oversized parka. When in doubt, check out our size chart at the end of each product page.
What sizes are available? Our sizes are dual, from XS-S to 4XL-5XL. The letter on the left is the size you would buy in a men's brand, while the one on the right is what you would buy in a women's brand. Regardless of how you identify yourself, this is a genderless jacket, so we found the dual size to be the easiest way to make it clear. We believe travel freedom should fit everyone.
Is it unisex? Yes, all our products are genderless.
Travel & Airlines
Will airlines allow this? Yes. The FlyOn Jacket complies with personal item rules. You wear it, not carry it. Customers have used it with Ryanair, EasyJet, Vueling, Spirit Airlines, and dozens of other airlines without issues.
Can it replace a carry-on bag? That's exactly what it's designed to do. Pack your clothes, wear the jacket through security and boarding, skip the baggage fee.
What about security checks? You go through security normally. The jacket passes through the X-ray machine like any other garment. Just remember to take out your liquids.
Orders & Shipping
How long does delivery take? 2-5 days. We ship directly from our Milan studio, usually with DHL. Within the EU, there are no customs procedures. Outside the EU, shipments do go through customs, so delivery may take a bit longer (usually up to 5 business days extra).
Is shipping free? Yes, worldwide. What is NOT included are duties and customs expenses charged by the destination country. We recommend researching the import duties for Made in Italy goods in your country. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Can I return it? For EU customers, returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. For shipments outside the EU, we do not accept returns.
Do you ship internationally? Everywhere. Worldwide shipping is free.
FlyOn Weekend (Summer Version)
What is the FlyOn Weekend? It's the lighter, summer version of the FlyOn Jacket, designed for 2 to 5 day trips. It carries up to 4kg across 12 internal pockets plus 2 hand pockets.
How is it different from the original FlyOn Jacket? The Weekend is lighter and built for shorter trips (up to 4kg vs 7kg), and its sleeves detach so you can wear it as a vest in hot weather. The original FlyOn Jacket carries more for longer trips (up to 7kg, 14 pockets). Both are water-repellent, genderless, and handmade in Milan.
Can I wear it in hot weather? Yes. The sleeves detach in seconds to turn it into a vest.
Is there an RFID version? Yes. The FlyOn Weekend RFID Edition adds 2 RFID-blocking pockets to protect your passport, cards, and ID.
What sizes and colors does the Weekend come in? Genderless sizing from XS-S to 4XL-5XL, in Black, Bottle Green, and Navy Blue.
