FlyOn Jacket vs FlyOn Weekend: Which Travel Jacket Is Right for You?
Share
We built the FlyOn Jacket on one simple idea: you shouldn't have to pay an airline to bring your own clothes. Wear your luggage, skip the fee, walk straight to the gate.
Then you told us something. A lot of you loved the idea but said 7kg was more than you needed for a long weekend, and you wanted something lighter for summer. So we made the FlyOn Weekend.

Now there are two. Here's how to choose (and why plenty of travelers end up with both).
The short answer
- Pick the FlyOn Jacket for longer trips, up to 7-10 days, and year-round travel. It carries up to 7kg across 14 internal pockets.
- Pick the FlyOn Weekend for shorter trips, 2-5 days. Lighter, summer-ready, with detachable sleeves so it works even in the heat (it carries up to 4kg).
Both are genderless, water-repellent, made from SEAQUAL® recycled ocean-plastic yarn, and handmade in our Milan studio.

How to choose
Think about your typical trip. If most of your travel is a week or more, the original FlyOn Jacket gives you the headroom: 7kg is a genuine carry-on replacement. If you mostly do city breaks and long weekends, the Weekend is lighter, easier to wear, and priced to match.
Think about the weather. The Weekend's detachable sleeves are the summer feature: zip them off and you've got a vest for hot airports and warm destinations, then put them back on for the flight or the evening. The original keeps its detachable hood for changing climates.
Think about security. Both come in an RFID Edition with pockets that shield your passport and cards from contactless theft. If you travel through busy hubs a lot, it's worth it.
Why not both?
Honestly, many of our customers travel enough that one jacket covers the long hauls and the other covers the quick getaways. Different trips, same idea: wear it, don't drag it.
